Unlike previous generation models, Intel’s 12th generation Core processor (codenamed Alder Lake) Divide the CPU workload into high-power “performance” cores and low-power “efficiency” cores. But in the meantime, chipmakers have also provided a workaround that allows players to manually launch and play the affected game. ![]() Intel said software fixes for the affected DRM software have been deployed. The list of games affected as a result of DRM issues includes Assassin’s Creed Valhara, Far Cry Primal, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remaster, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and more. ![]() Intel has confirmed that over 50 games are facing problems on PCs based on 12th generation core processors due to incompatibility with certain digital rights management (DRM) software.
